Falcon Storage Tapped for Austin Business Journal’s Fast 50 Award
Innovation and technology fuels rocket-like growth

AUSTIN, TX Oct. 4—Manor-based Falcon Storage has been nominated for the Fast 50 Award.  Sponsored by the Austin Business Journal, the annual award recognizes fastest-growing private companies in Central Texas.

“Falcon provides portable storage containers, portable buildings and moving containers to commercial and residential customers—we’re in a very low-tech industry,” notes Stephen Shang, co-founder of Falcon storage.  “Falcon Storage has developed a culture of innovation; we are earning market share by using technology to improve productivity and customer service.”

Falcon’s operating infrastructure is built around technology and leveraging the productivity of employees.  Revenue per employee is 30% higher than the major publicly-owned competitor.  Technology has allowed Falcon to offer the industry’s first guaranteed two-hour delivery window.

“We are constantly looking for ways to improve our product; we launched the Cool Box product in 2006 in response to the concerns of heat in Central Texas,” said Brian Dieringer, co-founder of Falcon Storage.

Fast 50 Award winners will be announced at the FAST 50 Cocktail Reception & Awards event on Oct. 18, from 6 pm to 8:30 pm, at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.  More information can be found at www.Austin.Bizjournals.com.
