Austin TX, June 26, 2023 – Modified shipping container structure manufacturer, Falcon Structures, celebrates twenty years of serving its customers. Since the beginning, Falcon Structures has been a pioneer of container-based spaces, having worked with a vast array of industries and the US military to help transform companies by providing safe and efficient container-based structures.

Co-founders Stephen Shang and Brian Dieringer met as engineering students at The University of Texas at Austin, grew in their individual careers then reunited to become business partners. Since then, Falcon Structures made the Inc. 5000 list six years in a row, spearheaded an industry-wide task force to successfully introduce containers into the international building code, won numerous industry awards, and built a 400,000 square foot facility in Manor, Texas, just east of Austin.
“We’re just getting started,” said Stephen Shang CEO and co-founder. “I see the way our structures are building a better world. By reusing cargo boxes we’re helping to create a safe space for our customers, the people, and things they care about.”

Falcon Structures was the first in-house container structure manufacturer to receive building code acceptance criteria approval (ESR 4163). A few project highlights on Falcon’s resume include Fortress Obetz, the largest container-based structure in the US to date, and The Pitch in Austin, a popular social hub and venue space.

“I’m most excited about the future when I think about our current team and how they work together to address challenges,” said Brian Deringer, VP of products and co-founder. “With the projects coming down the pipeline, I can’t wait to see what we create next.”

The next twenty years look bright for Falcon Structures. The team is embarking on several notable projects for companies working to shape their industries. With Falcon Structures, customers can rely on scalable solutions to optimize efficiencies and create better products for many years to come.
