Falcon Structures Certified as California Commercial Modular Builder
Austin TX, November 20, 2019 – After a rigorous and lengthy system of regulatory checks, Falcon Structures is now a certified Commercial Modular Builder in the state of California through the California Department of Housing and Community Development. Falcon can now provide factory-built structures using repurposed shipping containers to the California market.
“I’m proud that Falcon has met the requirements and is now a certified modular builder in California,” says CEO Stephen Shang. “While this is a triumphant moment for Falcon, the organization is treating this as the first step of many.”
“We will continue to work diligently to pursue modular certifications from other states” Shang continues. “It’s important that we do our best to meet the requirements of each state, so code officials trust the safety of our container-based structures. Our goal is to be a trusted resource and partner in modular building and to advocate for the safe use of shipping containers nationwide. I am confident that we will accomplish this goal, one state at a time.”
Falcon’s ability to be certified in the California Modular Building Program while adhering to the quality standards outlined in ICC AC10 will open many doors for Falcon, in California markets, and beyond.
