Falcon Structures is seeking an Insulation Installer/Laborer responsible for installing insulation materials to regulate temperature, improve energy efficiency, and reduce noise. You will work with various types of insulation applying them to walls, floors, ceilings, and pipes in the modification of shipping container-based structures. Benefits to working at Falcon include steady work when it’s sunny, stormy, or snowy! You come to the same facility each day, no driving around town to different job sites. We provide your tools. You will work with a diverse group of individuals and get to work on interesting projects.
Typical Work Schedule is 7am - 3:45 pm M-F with expected weekend work. (Overtime Likely)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Measuring and cutting insulation materials to fit spaces properly
- Installing insulation in structures according to print specifications
- Sealing gaps and ensuring complete coverage for maximum efficiency
- Following safety guidelines, especially when handling materials
- Using carpentry equipment
- Working with other trade professionals such as carpenters and drywall installers
- Reviews shop drawings
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Skills & Abilities
- 1+ years of experience
- Able to read shop drawings
- Good craftsman, able to perform quality work
- Has a good understanding of equipment used
- Must be safety conscience
- Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
- Has a learning mindset
- Flexible, friendly, able to collaborate with others, and work in a team
- Ability to use critical thinking
