General Description of Position

Falcon Structures is seeking a highly motivated, and energetic Inventory Specialist.  Falcon Structures’ Inventory Specialists are responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.   This individual will also keep records and compile stock reports. Additionally, they he/she will ensure that production has necessary materials to achieve product completion date commitments.  Benefits to working at Falcon include steady work when its sunny, stormy, or snowy!   You come to the same facility each day, no driving around town to different job sites. We provide your tools.  You will work with a diverse group of individuals and get to work on interesting projects.

Work Schedule is 7am - 3:45 pm M-F 
Hourly Pay $17.00-$19.00 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create Build Assemblies using Sales Orders.
  • Produce and review Inventory Shortage Reports to determine materials that need to be placed on order.
  • Create RMAs for defective received material.
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
  • Create lists to be used when receiving material from suppliers to ensure that complete and accurate orders are delivered.
  • Assist in creating load lists for outbound deliveries.
  • Create plans to organize material storage.
  • Organize material.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms and storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
  • Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
  • Keep records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
  • Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
  • Dispose of damaged or defective items or return them to vendors.
  • Other duties as assigned.
