Falcon Increases Production Capabilities with Expanded Container Certification

Austin TX, April 13, 2020 – Falcon Structures increases the breadth of its ability to serve its customers thanks to its expanded AC462 shipping container certification. The expanded certification added twenty-two new container models to Falcon’s list of AC462 containers, a certification from the International Code Council that allows Falcon to inspect and approve shipping containers as safe building materials. These newly approved models grant Falcon access to more containers from multiple manufacturers, increasing the supply options for companies requiring permitted structures.

Many of Falcon’s new suppliers hold containers at nearby depots, enabling Falcon to receive certified containers in a matter of days instead of weeks or months. Ultimately, the increased supply options help Falcon deliver modified containers on a faster and more reliable timeline.

“In the past, we have had to wait longer than desired to receive container models that are candidates to be certified. Now that we have increased our AC462 certification portfolio, we can obtain candidate containers more quickly which allows us to get right to work to help our customers,” explains Brian Dieringer, VP of Products.
