Falcon Storage Accepted as Nominee for 7th Annual Business Award Competition by Austin Chamber of Commerce
Storage company brings local flair, technology to traditional industry
AUSTIN, TX July 12-- Falcon Storage has been nominated as a finalist in the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce Architect of Ideas Award competition. For the seventh year, the Austin Chamber of Commerce has hosted a competition that recognizes local companies for excellence in innovation, customer service, community service, education and environment.
Recent technology innovations developed by Falcon Storage include an on-line pricing quoting system so customers can accurately determine expenses and a revolutionary 2-hour delivery window commitment.
“We have taken “new economy” technology and applied it to a traditional industry,” said Stephen Shang, co-founder of Falcon Storage. “Our goal has always been to put customers first with technology; Falcon Storage is implementing new processes and technology and our customers are benefiting.”
Created in 2001, the Greater Austin Business Awards has grown to over 1,000 attendees each year. Sponsored by the Austin-American Statesman, this year’s theme is “Our Austin. Our World”, and will honor everything unique about the region and Central Texas businesses. The winner of the Architect of Ideas Award will be announced at the 7th Annual Austin Business Awards on August 29 at the Hilton Austin. More information can be found at www.AustinChamber.org.
